Spence have a painting booth dedicated to full-service door leaf painting in our QLD and VIC factories. All undercoating, painting, hanging and curing is handled by our team for it to arrive at your job site ready for hanging.
Why Paint in Advance?
Risk Elimination
Leaving doors unsealed on-site presents the risk of moisture entering the door leaf and compromising its structure. This is not a concern with a pre-painted and sealed door.
Time Efficiency
The door installer simply needs to hang the door with no further painting and sealing layers to be completed.
Cost Efficiency
Save on cost by saving on labour. The reduction in on-site labour allows for a quicker submission of progress claims and to move on to the next project.

Taking You Through the Process
Step 1 | Colour Selection
Select the colour palette appropriate for your design.
Step 2 | Undercoating
An undercoating layer is applied to the door leaf in preparation for its painting.
Step 3 | Painting
Painting is carried out in our full-service paint booth, sealing the door and hosting its visual finish.
Step 4 | Hanging & Curing
Hanging the door in a controlled environment where ventilation and moisture conditions are suitable dor drying and curing.
