  • There are three key advantages of a laminated finish:

    • Has antimicrobial properties.
    • There is a wide selection of laminates to select the right visual finish for your project. Vinyl-look is the popular finish in Hospital settings.
    • Laminate does not visually degrade at the same rate as Metal as it does not dent or scratch as easily.

A standard configuration of a Laminated Hygiene Door includes:

    Core: Particleboard

    Skin: MDF

    Cladding: Laminate (to your specification)

Protection: PVC Edge Strips (fitted to both vertical stiles)

Additional Hardware: Yale Simplicity® Series hardware kit

  • The advantage of a Metal Clad finish is its strength against damage to the door leaf it encases. This offers an anti-microbial surface whilst extending the lifespan of the door set and miniming risk of maintenance.

Extras

  • Edge Strips

Hygiene Doors are commonly paired with PVC Edge Strips. These provide additional protection to the door leaf's perimeter, of particular importance when applying a Laminate as the Edge Strips protects its edges from peeling and damage.

  • Vision Panel

A glass window panel fitted into the door leaf in a clear or hugh finish. Offers visibility between spaces and the option for a shutter fitted onto the panel for opening and closing.
