    • Laminates can be installed on 48mm 1HR Fire Doors.
    • Laminates can be installed on 2HR Fire Doors where certified.

    Note: This is subject to tested configurations of fire door sets; Spence offer fire door sets with laminates that meet compliance requirements, but this is not applicable to all door sets within these fire-rated categories.

Options

  • A thick material featuring a protective overlay. The result in a very tough laminate suited to impact resistance in high-traffic areas.

  • Cost effective option for the visual finish and providing some resistance to general wear-and-tear to the door’s face including low impact and scratches.

  • A stiff material made of Engineered PETG plastic – free of PVC. This provides high resistance against impact among laminate options. Suited to settings where there is high exposure to impact and scratches.

    Edge Strips

    Edge Strips are commonly applied to Laminated Doors as these vertical sections protect the laminate's edges from damage and peeling.
